Maple Bluff Homes
Maple Bluff is a small residential suburb of Madison, WI, population of more than 1400. The Village became established in the late 1890's by Thomas E. Coleman. It is located on the shores of Lake Mendota and is contiguous to Madison's northeast side. Maple Bluff's village limits are defined by Lake Mendota to the west, Sherman Ave. and the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad to the east, the Yahara River to the south and Warner Park Boat launch to the north.
Children living in Maple Bluff attend Madison Public Schools. Maple Bluff has its own Police Department and is patrolled 24 hours a day. The Maple Bluff Fire Department is staffed by professional volunteers. Their firefighters are highly trained and equipped with modern fire fighting equipment. This format provides for a very economical, efficient, and effective system of providing emergency services its citizens.
